Gianna graduated from The Ohio State University in 2021 with a B.S. in Molecular Genetics and a Minor in Business.
During her time at Ohio State, she spent two years as an undergraduate research assistant in the Department of Biological Chemistry and Pharmacology at The Ohio State University College of Medicine.
Their research focused specifically on defining the early stages of chemotherapy-exacerbated cancer colonization of the lung, and this experience in oncology research inspired her to pursue a career in the fight against cancer.
At Deep Lens, Gianna works closely with the Artificial Intelligence Team to develop AI technology that extracts critical information to help match the right patient, to the right trial, at the right time.
