Job Description

The Sales team at Deep Lens, Inc. is seeking an experienced Provider Sales Director to grow the Unity Network in oncology and additional sub-specialties.  This role is responsible for prospecting, presenting, closing and contracting with community practice and hospital systems.  Experience, existing contacts, market knowledge and a proven track record of success within the oncology & hematology provider market is a must.  This role will require an individual to quickly understand how Deep Lens VIPER software fills the gaps between  electronic medical record (EMR) systems, genomics/genetics laboratories, pathology, and clinical trial eligibility criteria.  The Provider Sales Director will coordinate between Customer Success, Product, Integration and Sponsor Sales teams to ensure proper alignment and organization for new Unity Network practices.   Additional experience in genomics, genetics, pathology, clinical trials, EMR/Data integration, SaaS sales is a plus.


Key Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Drive adoption of Deep Lens VIPER to add practices to the existing Unity Network
  • Maintain an accurate sales pipeline and related deal notes.
  • Own a sales process from presentation through contracting
  • Develop relationships with strategic partners who provide lead generation.
  • Strive to find ways to improve the current system, discover issues and deliver value 
  • Collaborate closely with internal & external stakeholders and other product teams to understand the business needs driving changes to product market fit
  • Continually developing knowledge and skill to strengthen job performance
  • Handling sensitive and confidential information with tact, discretion and judgment
  • Performing other related duties as required and assigned

Skills Required:

  • Five or more years of experience in oncology sales
  • Track record of meeting or exceeding sales quota 
  • Excellent written and communication skills
  • Have strong interpersonal skills to facilitate working within a team and build relationships with the customer
  • Use of customer relationship management (CRM) software
  • High degree of responsiveness, reliability, and integrity
  • Decisiveness, strong judgment, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent time-management skills
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Willing to travel up to 30-40% if required
