Job Description

Sales Operations Associates provide support to the Deep Lens sales team including sales operations (reporting, campaigns, sales support) and sales enablement (proposal writing, and sales collateral).  The successful candidate will help drive business growth through the execution of our Clinical Research Organization (CRO) channel strategy. 

Reporting to the Vice President of Sales, they will  work closely with sales and marketing to build well-researched proposals for our clients.  They must work to maintain and improve upon internal processes to track and deliver on opportunities quickly with a high degree of accuracy.  Individuals must focus on accurate and timely responses to data requests for our clients and will actively work to build relationships with our strategic CRO partners.  They will also work alongside sales and marketing leadership to deliver insights on current initiatives and campaigns. Accordingly, candidates should have experience working within teams and across organizational groups to complete assignments.

The ideal candidate is experienced in B2B sales, internally motivated, a good communicator and collaborator, and able to think on their feet to solve problems.  Deep Lens is a mission-driven team, so bringing passion for solving big challenges in healthcare is a plus.


Key Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Develop a thorough understanding of Deep Lens’ solution offerings, functionality, positioning and value proposition for Sponsor and CRO organizations.
  • Grow specific assigned CRO, Biotech (Sponsor) accounts by developing, and validating new leads and opportunities, leading to quick revenue generation.
  • Utilize HubSpot CRM to manage pipeline relationships, opportunities, deal documentation, and campaign generation for both Sponsor and Provider markets
  • Collaborate with cross functional teams to complete sales data requests and client Requests For Information (RFI) forms 
  • Collaborate closely with the sales leadership team and head of marketing
  • Engage with current, or prospective clients, to qualify sales leads
  • Additional duties as assigned

Education, Experience, and Skills Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Powerpoint, Excel) and ability to learn new software quickly (e.g. Monday, Hubspot, VIPER). Powerpoint design skills are a plus
  • Understanding of clinical oncology, clinical trials and/or pathology & genomics testing is a plus
  • 1+ years experience in B2B marketing or sales operations
