Deep Lens’ VIPER platform was not built at just one hospital, although it was developed by the innovation group at one of the largest pediatric oncology facilities in the United States, Nationwide Children’s Hospital in Columbus, Ohio.
The VIPER platform was built by expert pathology groups around the world that focused on specific tumor types and subtypes. NCH played the role of global biospecimen repository and facilitated research projects globally.
Those participants, at over 65 major institutions helped forge the requirements that today make up the VIPER platform.
